Located in downtown Edgemont, the Trails, Trains & Pioneers Museum traces the ebb and flow of life of the southern Black Hills from pre-historic times to the present. The Edgemont Area Historical Society began in 2005 and maintains the Trails, Trains and Pioneers Museum. Our goal is to keep the voices of the past alive for present and future generations. Admission is free and the museum is open Memorial Day (late-May) through Labor Day (early September) and by appointment. Seasonal hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and
1-5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
