Located just south of Dumont Trailhead on Rochford Road in the Black Hills, with direct access to the Mickelson Trail and great snowmobiling, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking or walking, Carsten Cottages are the place to spend your vacation. Carsten Cottages are also located just minutes from Terry Peak, Spearfish Canyon, Rochford, and the historic gold rush towns of Lead and Deadwood. We offer other cabins at the Ponderosa Pines Bunkhouse.

Museum displays include a horse wagon, a 40-foot western mural, three large bronze statues, film biographies and more. During the summer, we are open seven days a week (closed Mondays, September-May).

The Cattleman's Club steakhouse was established in 1986 by Myril Arch, a rancher from the Pierre area. There is still sawdust on the floor, a reminder of the days when carpeting was too expensive. People from all over the world have visited us and enjoyed our steaks, prime rib and burgers. All with a great view of the Missouri River. We are open Monday through Saturday, 5-10 p.m.

Located in southwestern South Dakota, just 70 miles east of Rapid City, Cedar Pass Lodge & Restaurant is next to the Ben Reifel Visitor Center in Badlands National Park.
