It is also home to the Seven Sacred Horses, seven wild horses that are seen as symbols of unity and healing for the seven Lakota nations. Occupying nearly a full city block in Lemmon, the Petrified Wood Park & Museum is a curiosity that will pique an interest in both geology and architecture.
