We pride ourselves in making only non-toxic products of the highest quality. From our luxuriously moisturizing buffalo tallow sunscreen to soaps to whipped body butters, healing salve, and more - we know you won't leave disappointed. Based in Rapid City, the owner of Black Hills Contraband Distillery has turned a seven-generation family recipe into reality by producing flavored liqueur in South Dakota. Contraband flavored liqueurs have been perfected from generation to generation. In 2016, Contraband became the first licensed full distillery in South Dakota. Today, we produce 14 flavors, including Smooth Bourbon, Black Satin, Black Fire and more. Visit us 12-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 12-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and 12-8 p.m., Sunday.
Black Hills Dakota Distiller, founded in April 2010, is the first legal distillery in the Black Hills area. We are a startup artisan distillery located outside of Sturgis, just northwest of Rapid City. Our goal is to produce the finest handcrafted spirits possible using South Dakota-grown ingredients. Our spirits are produced on a small batch level, which flows off our still at a rate of gallons per hour not hundreds of gallons per minute. Our hours are 2-6 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Art Glass is blown and lampworked on location at this gallery/studio near Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Pete and Gail blow glass gathered from a furnace to create colorful vases, bowls, goblets, paperweights and more. They also use a torch to lampwork intricate figurines including animals, ships, motorcycles and caketops. A wide variety of styles and price ranges are available daily during tourism season (part-time off-season). All purchases are packaged to travel or mail.
