The Museum of Wildlife, Science & Industry in Webster offers a glimpse of the past in 23 buildings. The founders of the museum were concerned with preserving the history of northeastern South Dakota and organized an effort to preserve items and culture of the area. The unique exhibits show the history of Day County and South Dakota in many military, agriculture, hunting, fishing railroad and pioneer life exhibits. Admission is by donation and all donations to keep the memories alive for future generations are appreciated. Summer hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 1-5 p.m., Sunday (May 15-early September). Early September through October 15, hours are 1-5 p.m., Monday through Sunday.My Place Hotel
