Blacktail Horseback Tours
Located between Deadwood and Lead, Blacktail Horseback Tours give riding enthusiasts both a trail ride and a lesson in Black Hills history. Guests ride through forested switchbacks and scenic overlooks while at the same time learn about the area's gold mining history. In addition to a few surprises, guest will enjoy original mining stories about the people who lived in the Black Hills from 1876 until 1900. Guests are assigned a horse and given instructions. Located in Dante, south of Mitchell, the Blahagio was built in 1912 as a bank. While trying to save the historical charm and character of the building, we completely renovated with new plumbing, wiring, windows, air conditioning, heating, and floors. The five bedrooms, which sleep up to 14, are located on the second floor, but if a guest prefers no steps, there is a nice sturdy futon located on the main level. Also on the second floor is a fully-furnished laundry room. The main level has a large spacious living/dining room. It also has a large, fully-furnished eat-in kitchen supplied with all appliances. We are one block from a bar with food and a fun playground/park, and we're just minutes away from some great hunting grounds and fishing waters in the area, so keep us in mind for your fall pheasant hunt.Blarney Stone Irish Pub
